“In the presence of nature, a wild delight runs through the man, in spite of real sorrows” - Ralph Waldo Emerson

My art is inspired by the natural world and our connection with it, so creating it with materials that cause harm to that environment or pollute the home didn’t fit my vision.

Sourcing eco-friendly, effective and archival mediums is something I have been dedicated to over the past three years and continues to be an ongoing commitment in my ever-evolving process.

Working en plein air (outside) and barefoot whenever possible, grounded and connected to the earth, I lose myself in the sights, sounds smells and unique sense of peace nature brings. Absorbing that essence and infusing it into the artwork I make.

About nature, of nature.

The majority of my artworks are now made with natural earth and mineral pigments. These eco-friendly pigments contain no additives or heavy metals and are sustainably harvested from around the world.

Archival and naturally designed to last, they will keep your artwork looking beautiful for many years to come, as they did for the Renaissance Masters.

All artworks and the handcrafted oak frames that cradle them are sealed with 100% natural, eco-friendly varnish.

Whilst protecting your valuable new purchases from dust, dirt and oils, this archival varnish will neither add VOCs or heavy metals to your home nor damage the environment. Ensuring you can safely enjoy your art for many years to come.
