Disclaimer

As a plaster artist the artworks created by Cheryl Lee LeBlonde as Basement71Art can be heavy and/or bulky as well as delicate and easy to damage. They require appropriate and robust hanging hardware to secure them safely to surfaces for both the safety of any people in the vicinity as well as to prevent damage to the artwork itself. Any injury or damage that arises from improper hanging, handling or usage of the artwork is not the responsibility of the artist.

Delivery

All artwork and homewares that are ready to ship will be packaged and prepared for shipping once your payment clears. Once packaged and collected by the delivery courier, you will receive a dispatch e-mail with tracking information. Shipping within the UK is free and usually takes 1-2 working days, or particularly large sizes within certain postcodes can be delivered by the artist or a representative. International shipping varies by weight and volume and will automatically update depending on which artwork(s) is/are selected. Taxes and customs imports that may be payable are not included and are the responsibility of the customer.

Refunds and Returns

All artwork is described and photographed as accurately as possible, in both natural and artificial light, and with multiple close-ups to give you the clearest idea of how the art looks in person. However, due to the way different screens display colour and light, it is difficult to perfectly represent the artwork for everyone. In particular, paintings with metallic or gloss elements may reflect light differently in photographs. The majority of my customers report the art to look "even better in person", however, should you be unhappy with your purchase for any reason, then you are welcome to return it provided that;

a) You inform me of your wish to return the goods within 14 days of receipt via the contact form or email.

b) You return the goods within a further 14 days of notifying me of your wish to return them.

c) The goods are returned in an unused and undamaged condition, with their original protective packaging. Any artwork that is damaged due to failure to properly package it for the return shipping will not be entitled to a refund

d) You will be responsible for the return shipping cost and insurance.

Once the artwork is received intact and in the same condition it was dispatched, a full refund will be authorised to your original payment provider.

Damaged Items

Your artwork will be sent securely packaged, with tracking and insurance to ensure it gets to you in perfect condition. However, in the unlikely event, it does arrive to you damaged, please contact me within 3 days of delivery. I will need to see photos of the areas of issue and also of the packaging and any areas you think may relate to the damage. We can then discuss your preference for a refund, replacement, or repair.

Items that are damaged by the customer are unfortunately not eligible for return.
